Dianne Holloway began her employment with Butts County in 1989 as Payroll & Benefits Officer. She was later promoted to Deputy County Clerk and became County Clerk in 2003, her current position. In this capacity she automatically serves as Executive Secretary to the Board of Commissioners.

Ms. Holloway, as Clerk of the County, bears the responsibility for the archival and maintenance of all records of the Board of Commissioners and the General Government of Butts County. This includes processing requests from the public for open records act submissions and other public inquiries. She also oversees the preparation of the Commissioner's Docket for meetings, publishing meeting announcements, preparing the Commissioner's briefing packets and scheduling meetings and events for the Board.

Her background in county local government is extensive. In addition to having completed the extensive requirements to become a Certified County Clerk, Ms. Holloway has also completed the training process to become a Certified Finance Officer, both through the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, a division of the University of Georgia.

A native of Butts County, she resides with her husband Charles in Stark where they are active members of the Stark United Methodist Church.
