		Butts County Department of Public Works This department is responsible for three major functions of Butts County: the planning, maintenance and upkeep of County public roads, streets and bridges; the operation of seven solid waste collection and recycling centers located in convenient locations throughout the County and the operation of the Motor Vehicle Maintenance Facility, as well as operation of the County motor vehicle maintenance shop and programming.
